a cart with grapes has passed
in veiled silence
A man has passed.
with all his suffering

qui è passato un carro con le uve
nel silenzio più alto
è passato l’uomo
con tutta la sua sofferenza

It is an invitation to pause and reflect, to rummage into the past, in the memory of time that enshrines all the daily toils of the men in the vineyards, the hardships of a tough existence faced with great dignity, while they were building a landscape for the eyes of the world.

E’ un invito a soffermarsi e a riflettere, a rovistare nel passato, nella memoria del tempo che racchiude le grandi fatiche quotidiane degli uomini delle vigne, le difficoltà di un’esistenza dura affrontate con grande dignità, mentre si costruiva un paesaggio per gli occhi del mondo.
